Mumbai – Saleem Sarang, State Vice President of the Nationalist Congress Party Ajit Pawar (NCP), had strongly condemned MLA Sangram Jagtap’s alleged anti-Muslim remarks and demanded disciplinary action from the party. Responding to questions from journalists, Ajit Pawar said, “The Nationalist Congress Party is a secular party that follows the ideals of Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Speaking against any religion is against the core principles of our party. I will ask Sangram Jagtap exactly what he said and why he said it.”
