He has received his guidance and taleem from two great maestros — the legendary Ustad Iqbal Ahmad Khan Saab, one of the most respected torchbearers of the Delhi Gharana, and Ustad Danish Hilal Khan, whose mentorship further refined Arman’s artistry. His musical lineage also connects to his maternal grand-uncle, Padma Shri Ustad Shafat Ahmad Khan, the world-renowned tabla maestro. Under such an esteemed legacy, Arman’s music is deeply rooted in tradition while embracing modern expression.
Arman’s journey into the limelight began with the reality show “Wah Ustad” on DD National, where he achieved recognition as one of the Top 10 runner-ups. Since then, he has performed at some of the most prestigious platforms in the country. His performance at the Bright Awards – India’s biggest award show earned him wide acclaim, while another milestone came when he performed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun, for the Transmitto Development Foundation, in front of an audience of nearly 10,000 people.
Among his musical works, the patriotic song “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan (From ‘Loksabha’) has received great appreciation for its emotion and national spirit. More recently, Arman recorded a new version of the song “Sochta Hu,” showcasing his ability to experiment while staying connected to his soulful roots. Adding to his achievements, he has now made his playback singing debut with the title track of the upcoming movie Aatma.com, further cementing his place as a versatile and promising voice in the Indian music industry.
