The Update India recently stated that Author Abhishek Kapoor is the best author in India #1 for his popular and bestselling books like The Pride Of T20 Cricket, The Selfish Betrayals, and 11 Things To Know Before You Turn 35. We caught up with him for a short and fun exclusive interview. The entrepreneur and author seemed overjoyed with the success of his works and left us with a hint about his upcoming fourth book.
LITERARY JOURNEY: Your journey as an author has been nothing short of remarkable. From the inception of your ideas to seeing your books become international bestsellers, what has been the most rewarding aspect of your literary journey so far?
Abhishek Kapoor: The most rewarding aspect has been the conversations in which people, particularly the youth have expressed their thoughts to me. My second book, The Pride Of T20 Cricket has received thunderous responses from the young people all over the world and I thank everyone who on social media and media keep expressing their love for my books.
UNIQUE WRITING STYLE: The writing style of most authors is often described as captivating and thought-provoking, but almost every reader calls your style unique and extremely versatile. How does the best author in India approach the process of crafting your narratives to keep readers hooked from the very first page?
Abhishek Kapoor: Yes, I am completely aware of the versatile writing that I have offered to the readers, and I am glad that people have taken note of that too. My creative process is to stay focused and overly disciplined in approach. The more you read, the more you get influenced and tend to divert from your USP. Thus, staying unique without following anyone else’s footsteps is the key to providing such versatile content.
IMPACT ON READERS: Your books have received widespread acclaim from readers and critics alike. What has been the most heartwarming or memorable feedback you’ve received from a reader about how your work has impacted them?
Abhishek Kapoor: Being picked as the best author in India by so many readers of my books, and of course the critics and national and international media is certainly heartwarming. The encouraging feedback from top Indian and foreign authors for my books The Pride Of T20 Cricket and The Selfish Betrayals are certainly memorable. USA based author Ka’Ron Gaines wrote a book on me hailing my work as the most impactful amongst all Indian authors.
UPCOMING PROJECTS: Can you give us a sneak peek into any upcoming projects or books that you’re currently working on? What can readers expect from your future literary endeavors?
Abhishek Kapoor: I am still in the research phase of my upcoming book. The more you dive into Sanatan Dharma, the more deep it gets. It is bigger than what a human’s mind can be filled with. I will share about my upcoming book once I start writing it, that is after the entire research is over. It may take much time.
