Patna, July 14, 2025: As the Bihar Assembly Elections approach in November 2025, the political heat is rising in the Bagaha constituency of West Champaran district. The seat, a traditional stronghold of the NDA, has been won twice by BJP and once by JD(U) in the past 15 years. Now, all eyes are on young entrepreneur Rupesh Pandey, who is emerging as the frontrunner in the race for the BJP ticket from this key constituency.
Pandey, a native of Champaran, had previously made headlines during the Tirhut Graduate Constituency MLC elections, where he was considered a strong contender before withdrawing his nomination due to strategic reasons. That seat later went to JD(U), an NDA ally. However, this time, his focus is firmly on Bagaha.
