Growing up in a spiritually rich environment, Ravi Raj developed a profound connection with devotional music at an early age. Surrounded by religious practices and the chanting of Ramayan choupais, he discovered the transformative power of music as a form of prayer. His family encouraged his interest in singing, nurturing both his talent and his values.
After completing his education, Ravi Raj moved to Mumbai in 2015 to pursue a professional career in the entertainment industry. He started as a voice-over artist, recording over twenty episodes for the Discovery Channel, and later contributed as a choir singer in Bollywood films like Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Airlift starring Akshay Kumar. These early experiences provided him with industry exposure and refined his vocal skills.
In 2017, Ravi Raj relocated to New Delhi, choosing to focus entirely on devotional music. He collaborated with leading music labels including Wave Music, Sonotek, T-Series, Bhakti Dhaam, Chanda Cassettes, and Lokdhun Spiritual, producing music that resonated with audiences across India and abroad.
His performance of “Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari” became a global phenomenon, and over time, he has recorded more than 2,000 bhajans, composed over 100 original tracks, and written over 500 devotional compositions. His music combines classical foundations with contemporary arrangements, making spiritual music accessible and appealing to younger generations.

Since 2017, Ravi Raj has served as the Devotional Head at Lokdhun Telemedia Pvt. Ltd. (Wave Music). In this role, he oversees the production and curation of devotional content and mentors emerging artists. His leadership has helped modernize the devotional music space while preserving traditional spiritual values, creating content that reaches audiences both nationally and internationally.
Beyond music, Ravi Raj is deeply committed to social causes. He collaborates with NGOs to promote girls’ education, raise awareness on social issues, and encourage community engagement. His work reflects the belief that true spirituality manifests through action and service, not just devotion.

The youngest of three brothers and two sisters, Ravi Raj credits his mother as the guiding influence in his life. Despite his busy schedule, he maintains strong family bonds and draws inspiration from their support.
