Ajay Vaktaria belongs to a Traditional agricultural family of Madhya Pradesh. He grew up poor, surrounded by farms & cattle, thinking that the same farms were his future.
But fate had other plans. Due to severe drought Ajay & his family moved to the city in hopes of a better life. His parents did daily wage work & being the eldest son, he started working when he was 11 years old. Little Ajay would work on the farm or graze cattle & earned barely Rs 2-5 per day.
At a very early age, he understood the value of money & worked hard to secure a better future. At age 12, he would sell popcorn on trains & dreamed of traveling to new places someday. Around the same time, he was introduced to the traditional Sport of Yoga & Mallakhamb an aerial presentation of gymnastics & complex Yoga postures while atop a cane or a pole.
The beauty of being airborne fascinated his young mind & he began his training at the local ‘akhaada’. It soon became clear that he was born to perform.
He was 13 years old when he participated in a local competition & won Rs 50. This was a huge amount for a boy who was earning pennies by working at tea stall. He decided then & there to pursue Yoga & Mallakhamb professionally & earn money to get his family out of poverty.
He practiced hard & was selected to represent the state of MP at the National Mallakhamb Competition held in Mumbai. He was excited beyond measure because it was his 1st time stepping out of his home & sitting in the sleeper coach of a train. His inspiration to win came from the realization that sportsmen get to eat 3 meals a day at National Camps & travel free of cost to various destinations.
The idea of earning money by playing a sport & winning laurels for his State & Country was very appealing & he performed excellently at both national & International venues.
He soon became the face of Yoga & Mallakhamb in MP & was awarded various accolades at state & national level. He dedicated all his winnings to building a ‘pakka’ house for his family, at the young age of 21.
Ajay was very attached to Yoga – Mallakhamb & began coaching young players. At the same time he enrolled himself to pursue the study of Yoga And from here your life took a new turn, after that you never looked back. And started giving training of yoga.
Many of his students went on to become eminent Teachers & Players.
Today, Dr Ajay is a Successful Sportsman, Business person & social worker. He manages his own Tourism Company.He has his own YouTube Channel ‘Talk with Ajay’ where he conducts regular talks with eminent TV celebrities & sports personalities. He is a co-owner of tv channel NCN TV , telecast in Madhya Pradesh
Dr Ajay is a humble, jolly & very positive man whose life has taught him many lessons. Despite being an MD at a Company & an International Sportsman, you can see him wearing a coat & selling hot tea & Kachoris at the same tea stall every evening. He believes the tea stall to be his ‘Lucky Charm’ & working there makes him feel connected to people.
Education & Qualifications
From the early childhood he is a bright student, and after a lot of circumstances in his life he continued his study and proved himself as a real fighter . He completed his Masters in Yoga and Naturopathy, PhD in Philosophy, Done his Diploma in Yoga Education, an Diploma in Yoga Science.
He has done RYT 200 hour & 500 hour International Teachers Training Course under the Direction of Miss Deepti Somani (Divine Yogarpana, Indore) from Yoga alliance, he loves adventure so he has done his Diploma in Mount training and Adventure Sports.

Dr. Ajay also currently work in field of Movies & Music as Director /Producer.
