Dr. Farzana Lakdavala, is a person with multiple roles – a pageant queen, model, successful professional, a wife and above all, the mother of two beautiful children. You might think it’s impossible, but it’s not.
Equipped with a degree in Aesthetic Dentistry, she currently holds the position of Director India for Foreign Direct Inward Investment at the Scottish Development International. Also, Founder and Managing Trustee of Dental Health Care Trust.
Dr Farzana hails from a well-educated family and was born and raised in Mumbai, the city of dreams. Her family has always been her anchor. Through the Universe, she married a compatible partner whose support has been instrumental in her success.
Dr Farzana Lakdavala firmly believes that one must keep moving forward and constantly challenge oneself. This led her to participate in a beauty pageant. She won Mrs Maharashtra Empress of Maharashtra 2021, runner-up and subtitle Mrs Ultimate Diva.
Following the pageant, she walked as the showstopper for Pune Times Fashion, India Fashion League and Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD). Honoured by – Fame Awards ‘Best Dynamic Woman Personality’; Wow Awards ‘Outstanding Social Media Influencer and Glamour Icon’; International Iconic Awards ‘International Iconic Beauty Pageant Winner of India’. Also, Featured in Enlighten India Magazine, Kolors Calendar 2022, Top 12 Best Story Awards. She was also the ‘Pageant Jury’ for Empress of Pune by Diva Pageant.
Being on stage has always been her passion and she is trained in Bharatanatyam, Latin Dancing by ISTD UK and Free style dance by Shaimak Davar Dance Academy. In 2016 she performed Salsa at the World Whistling Convention in Japan.
She is an avid fitness freak and a marathon runner, she also has a strong spiritual side, is a Reiki master and energy healer. She runs a health care foundation through which she supports oral health and education for children. She strongly believes in the act of charity and supports a number of social organizations.
As she puts it, ” I am sure many women are trapped by fear of failure and self-doubt. All I want to say is that life provides you with a choice. You need to take that first step, and the rest will follow. Following the stereotype created by society may not help you achieve all that your heart desires. Let not age, marriage, children, or profession be bound to you like shackles, instead think of them as steppingstones to your happy ending. If I can do it, anyone can!”
