In a significant move to bolster the digital readiness of India’s law enforcement, Tushar Sharma, Co-Founder of TOFEE (The Organisation For Enlightenment & Education), recently conducted a dedicated cyber security training session for the Delhi Police. This initiative forms part of a broader mission to equip police forces with the knowledge and tools necessary to tackle the increasing complexity of cyber crimes in today’s digital age.

With over 100 police officers already trained across various Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), Tushar Sharma has established himself as a trusted figure in the realm of cyber security education. His recent session with the Delhi Police focused on key areas such as digital evidence acquisition, evidence preservation, cyber laws, and the handling of digital forensics. These topics are increasingly vital as cyber crimes become more sophisticated and difficult to trace.

What set this session apart was its practical, real-world approach. Officers were guided through actual case studies, exposed to landmark court judgments, and engaged in interactive discussions on the challenges they face in the field—especially in mobile and computer forensics. From the technical nuances of tracing digital footprints to the legal precision required to present digital evidence in court, the training covered a comprehensive range of challenges that modern-day officers encounter.

Tushar Sharma’s passion for cyber education extends well beyond professional training. He is deeply committed to creating a safer digital environment for vulnerable groups, especially women, senior citizens, and students. Through TOFEE and numerous social initiatives, he has been a driving force behind cyber awareness campaigns in schools, colleges, and communities across the country. His sessions aim not only to inform but to empower citizens to protect themselves from online threats such as phishing, cyberbullying, and identity theft.

Reflecting on the Delhi Police session, Sharma remarked, “This wasn’t just a training; it was a collaborative experience with the real heroes who protect us every day. These officers face the toughest digital crime challenges, and equipping them with the right tools and knowledge is a national priority.”

This training marks another milestone in TOFEE’s mission to strengthen cyber hygiene and investigative capabilities at the grassroots level. By blending legal insights, technical expertise, and a passion for public awareness, Tushar Sharma continues to play a pivotal role in building a digitally secure India. As cyber threats evolve, initiatives like these are crucial in ensuring that our frontline defenders—our police forces—are not just reactive, but proactive and prepared. Through leaders like Tushar Sharma, the path toward digitally literate law enforcement and safer communities is steadily being forged
