After a five-year hiatus, the Former Sargantines Association of Bishop Sargant School came together in a spectacular alumni meet on October 26, 2024. The event, held at the school’s iconic premises, was organized under the new leadership of President Mrs. Florence and Secretary Ravi Sagar. The gathering saw an enthusiastic turnout, with over 300 alumni coming together to reconnect and celebrate their shared history.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of 13 retired teachers, who were honored for their invaluable contribution to the school and the lives of countless students. This emotional tribute was met with standing ovations and heartfelt speeches, showcasing the deep bond between the alumni and their mentors.
Adding a significant milestone to the occasion, the association launched a dedicated alumni resources website, Developed by Sujal Jain aimed at fostering stronger connections and offering a platform for networking, career guidance, and resource-sharing among former students.
Food and beverages for the event were generously sponsored by Karan Kumar, proprietor of Karan Textiles, Tumkur. The seamless organization of the event, including logistical and financial support, was made possible through funds raised by alumni members, reflecting their commitment to giving back to their alma mater.
The event received strong support from staff coordinator Mrs. Sheela Isaac , Treasurer Arjun Bhoopalam & his team Ramya , Dr.Meghana , Narasimha & Anchor Bhoomika ensuring smooth coordination and financial management.
