FROM MALAPPURAM TO A NATIONAL MOVEMENT: THE FOUNDERS REWRITING CHILD DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA

India’s child development system has long lacked structure—but two young occupational therapists from Malappuram have triggered a nationwide shift.

What began as classroom conversations between Fithil C.T and Niyaz K.T evolved into Tykes Valley, today one of India’s most systemised pediatric therapy platforms.

Their shared observation was simple but alarming:

While technology transformed healthcare globally, pediatric therapy in India remained traditional, inconsistent, and dependent on individual effort rather than scientific systems.

Niyaz’s turning point came when his father suffered a stroke in Dubai—he witnessed the difference modern equipment made, and the gap back home.

Fithil’s awakening came early, seeing parents deny developmental challenges due to lack of awareness, and skilled therapists leaving India.

Together, they envisioned an ecosystem where:

Every child is assessed early and accurately

Every therapist works inside a unified, supportive system

Every parent gains clarity over confusion

Technology strengthens outcomes instead of complicating them

This vision became Tykes Valley—now recognized as a new standard for clinical accuracy, structural discipline, and community-driven child development, supported by Talrop’s healthcare ecosystem.

What started in Malappuram is now scaling across India and soon the GCC, proving that real change often begins with young founders who simply refuse to accept a broken system.
