Sudhir Saxena, India’s rising star in kickboxing, clinched the bronze medal at the Seniors and Masters National Kickboxing Championship, held at Balbir Singh Juneja Stadium, Raipur, from July 16 to 20, 2025.

Hailing from Lahasani village in Ballia, Sudhir’s early days were defined not by sports academies, but by self-discipline, handmade training tools, and a burning will to rise. He trained relentlessly — often under open skies — and carried his passion for kickboxing even when recognition was distant.
“Coming from Lahasani taught me that strength isn’t always physical. It’s mental. It’s emotional. And above all, it’s about endurance,” he said after the match.
