New Delhi [India], September 10: The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) and The Government of Omsk Region have entered into a landmark Agreement on Cooperation and Interaction, opening a new chapter of collaboration aimed at strengthening economic, cultural, and innovation ties across the BRICS framework and beyond.

The agreement was formalized in Omsk by Mr. Sameep Shastri, Vice Chairman of BRICS CCI and Mr. Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko, Governor of Omsk Region and Chairman of the Government of Omsk Region. Their signing underscored a shared commitment to deeper partnerships between Russia and India, reinforcing the global role of BRICS in shaping a future of inclusive growth.

The success of this historic accord was made possible through the significant efforts of Ms. Tatiana Seliverstova, Founder of the International Trade and Investment Company Consult Invest ITIC (with representation in five countries), Director of the International Award “TOP 100 BRICS Entrepreneurs”, and Director of the International Acceleration Programs “BRICS Business Incubator” and “SCO Business Incubator”. Ms. Seliverstova’s vision and leadership were pivotal in aligning the priorities of the Omsk Region with BRICS CCI, ensuring that the agreement emerged not only as a document of cooperation but as a dynamic roadmap for future engagement.

Speaking on behalf of BRICS CCI, Mr. Sameep Shastri reaffirmed the Chamber’s mission to act as a bridge between commerce and communities, noting that this partnership with Omsk Region would create new synergies for entrepreneurs, innovators, and policymakers. He expressed optimism that the agreement would pave the way for long-term collaboration that benefits all BRICS stakeholders.

Governor Khotsenko, in his address, highlighted that the agreement reflects Omsk Region’s determination to act as a hub of international collaboration, welcoming opportunities in trade, education, technology, and cultural exchange. He emphasized that Omsk is ready to project its strengths onto the global stage in partnership with trusted international institutions.

The agreement thus stands as a testament to the importance of regional and organizational partnerships in today’s interconnected world. It reflects the collective will to translate dialogue into action and to create meaningful opportunities that span geographies. With the support of visionary leaders like Ms. Tatiana Seliverstova, this collaboration is set to redefine the contours of cooperation between Russia, India, and the wider BRICS community.
