On Friday, 11th July 2025, under the guidance of Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Mr. Aditya Ranjan, the Jai Dharti Maa Foundation inaugurated the One Crore Plantation Mega Campaign at PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Benagoria, by planting a mango sapling.
The campaign was jointly launched by the foundation’s founder Mr. Ravi Kumar Nishad along with Ranjit Kumar, Sudhir Hembram, Mohammad Shamsher Ali Raju, district secretary Sahdev Mahato, Mohammad Najim Khan, S.K. Singh, S.K. Yadav and other members.
After the inaugural plantation, the programme continued at Shivaji Plus Two High School, Benagoria, Middle School, Benagoria and Primary School, Dharampur, where saplings were planted with the active participation of students and staff.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of Vinay Kumar Jha (Principal, Shivaji Plus Two High School, Benagoria), Pratima Murmu, Nipan Kumar Mandal, Jayprakash, Bhuband Rohidas, Jyoti Lal Marandi, Madhusudan Hansda (Principal, Middle School, Benagoria), Badal Gorai and many other dignitaries, teachers and students. After the plantation drive, the foundation’s founder Mr. Ravi Kumar Nishad conducted a special workshop on Environmental Conservation for the students. He highlighted the urgent need to protect our environment for a healthy life and motivated everyone to plant more trees and nurture them like family.
