The initiative will also focus on women’s empowerment on campus through involvement in ongoing efforts by Adidas Runners, including the ‘With Women We Run’ programme, which provides safe and supportive spaces and tailored events to encourage active participation in fitness.
Beyond running, the partnership will include workshops, speaker panels, and webinars designed to provide professional advice and community support, with opportunities for co-hosting major events at IILM’s sports venues. Select students will also be appointed as Adidas Runners Campus Ambassadors, tasked with leading outreach, organising activities, and building a vibrant running culture across the university.
The initiative encourages students to bring along peers, friends, and family, extending its impact beyond campus. Exclusive running events will also be offered to neighbouring institutions, fostering a wider culture of wellness and participation across the academic community.
