nt step in his career. The project brought him into a pan-India release space. The film is produced under the banner of Om Shivay Films. The story blends fear and humour. It also focuses on social issues. Jeetendra’s role as a parallel lead adds balance to the narrative. His screen presence fits the rural and realistic tone of the film. This role reflects his steady growth in regional and national cinema.

The casting of Jeetendra Singh Yadav was done by Aradhana Sachan, who is also the casting director, project head, and an actor in the film. She plays an important role and also appears as the chudail. Aradhana Sachan and Jeetendra Singh are from the same city Kanpur. Aradhana Sachan had been following Jeetendra Singh’s work on social media for a long time. She liked his acting style and natural look. After meeting him once and discussing his work, she felt confident. She was impressed by his understanding of characters. That meeting turned into an offer for a parallel lead role. This casting shows how digital platforms are shaping real cinema connections today.

Jeetendra Singh Yadav Takes Centre Stage as Parallel Lead in Siharan

The shooting of Siharan was done entirely at real locations to keep the story natural. The team travelled to real location Garhi Malhara near Chhatarpur district. They also completed shooting in nearby villages and towns. Key scenes were shot at the famous religious site Atra Sarkar Ji Hanuman Temple in Khajuraho district. Many scenes were shot during the night because the film belongs to the horror-comedy genre. The shoot happened in October. Siharan’s shooting lasted around 25 to 30 days. Nearly 80–90 artists and technical crew members from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai contributed to the film. Cold weather made the process a bit challenging for the cast and crew. Night shoots in open rural areas tested everyone’s endurance. Still, the team stayed committed. The natural surroundings added authenticity to the visuals. This effort helped the film feel raw, real, and connected to village life.

The film is produced by Hari Narayan Chaurasia, who is also a filmmaker. His wife Aabha Chaurasia is the co-producer. Director Manish Kumar Yadav handled the storytelling with focus and clarity. The story touches on issues linked to rural life, farming, and social behaviour. Betel leaf farming is shown as a key concept, highlighting problems faced by farmers from villages to cities. The film also speaks about women empowerment and social bias. Horror and comedy are used as tools to deliver these messages simply. Jeetendra Singh Yadav fits well into this environment-driven storytelling style.

Siharan had its premiere on 10 December. The film is now releasing slowly across India. The film is not getting a single nationwide release. The film is reaching audiences in phases. The film has been already in states like Maharashtra, Assam and Punjab. It was recently released in Uttar Pradesh, and Kolkata. The response in Kolkata has been strong. Mumbai release is expected soon. Abhishek Sharma from Jaipur is another lead in the film, adding diversity to the cast. The pan-India distribution is handled carefully to build word-of-mouth. For Jeetendra Singh Yadav, this release pattern brings wider recognition. His journey from Kanpur to national screens feels earned, steady, and rooted in real cinema.
