British Learning.UK has tied up with Rotary Club of Mumbai Dahisar to launch a massive Teachers Training Program for School Teachers Across Western Mumbai. Well known Psychologist, Psycho-Therapist & Counsellor Dr. Mayurika Das Biswas will the Principal Trainer for this ambitious Social Initiative.

British Learning is today regarded as one of the finest Edtech companies in the World today.  Almost one lakh students consisting of Professionals,  Teachers, Counsellors, Psychologists & Nutritionists from over 20 Countries have taken advantage of the excellent courses offered by British Learning.

1000’s of Teachers trained by British Learning have raised concerns about the Psychological Problems shown by School Children after they have come back to School after almost 2 years of confinement during the Covid Pandemic.

School Students are now seen having Psychological issues like

Depression & low  Self-esteem. This  has resulted in a declined  Academic Performance and other signs like constant fidgetiness and aggression.

School Children who have seem their near ones seriously ill or have even lost their dear ones  are seen suffering from a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. They worry too much about the reoccurrence of a similar Pandemic.

A lot of School Children are seen having eating disorders and obesity. They are no longer addressing their Teachers or Elders correctly and respectfully.

Another worrisome problem is excessive exposure to digital and social media as well as exposure to adult content. Since school children  are having constant access to the digital devices, they were viewing content that they were not actually meant to. Certain OTT Platforms openly exhibiting such adult content have really compounded the problem

Apart from these issues students are seen having issues like clinginess, difficulty in concentration, constant distraction and inability to focus and memorize. Children are also seen suffering from adjustment issues, short temper, aggression and anxiety

Aptly termed as a Post Covid Child Psychology Programme this entire course worth Rs 10000/- will be   offered absolutely free to teachers. Rotary Club of Mumbai Dahisar under the leadership of its President Sharad Jain has initiated seminars across Schools especially in and around Dahisar, a suburb of Mumbai.

The Executive Director of British Learning.UK Mrs. Poonam Bijoor gave an impressive orientation talk to teachers explaining the process of empanelment for the Training Program. She further stressed that outstanding teachers would be felicitated by Rotary in a grand function scheduled in December 22.

Dr. Mayurika Das Biswas gave a mesmerizing talk to the teachers explaining the finer points in Child psychology and the disturbing signs school teachers need to look out for. She gave the teachers a live session in NLP which was very much appreciated. The Senior Rotarians present applauded British Learning for this Social Initiative and the long term impact it will have on the School Children for years to come.
