Poet Sudip Chandra Halder Conferred with "Bharat Pratibha Samman – 2025"

The award was presented by Shri Anurag Thakur, former Union Minister and Member of Parliament, who served as the Chief Guest. Also present were Padma Shri awardees Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Kumar Shethi and celebrated classical dancer Smt. Shovana Narayan, who attended as special guests.

Each awardee received a specially crafted memento and citation, inspired by the design of the Padma Shri, symbolizing national recognition of their contributions.

In his keynote address, Shri Thakur remarked, "Each recipient of the Bharat Pratibha Samman is lighting the path forward for Bharat through their unwavering dedication. The government remains committed to honoring genuine merit and excellence." He also referenced the recent Padma Shri awarded to Dukhu Majhi, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to recognizing grassroots impact.

Echoing similar sentiments, Smt. Shovana Narayan noted, "Receiving such an honor is not just a moment of pride—it is a call to strive further." Prof. Shethi encouraged greater civic engagement, emphasizing the importance of individual responsibility in nation-building.

In a brief interaction with the media, Sudip Chandra Halder shared his reflections: "This recognition is more than a personal milestone—it represents a deeper responsibility. Bharat is progressing steadily, and I am honored to contribute to its journey, however small that role may be. One day, Bharat will truly rise as the Vishwaguru."
