Shri Ratibhai Prabhudas Patel was born on 1st February 1958 in Kahoda village, Mahesana district of Gujarat, to Shri Prabhudas Chhagandas Patel and Smt. Galbiben Patel. He was born into a farming family. His life was simple but filled with values. His early life in rural Gujarat planted the seed of simplicity in him. His parents, despite money problems, made sure he studied. It was a home where hard work and truth mattered more than wealth. He grew up driven not by personal ambition, but by a calling to make life better for others.

He completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Anand Agricultural University and later earned an LLB degree. After finishing his studies, Shri Patel cleared the banking exams and joined Dena Bank. For 20 years, he didn’t just work—he helped people, supported co-workers, and earned trust. His time at the bank showed how leadership is not about power but about listening and standing for what is right. He joined banking with a purpose—working at Dena Bank was more than just a job for him. People respected him because he stayed simple and always helped others move ahead. He is married to Smt. Manjulaben Ratibhai Patel and has two sons — Bhargav and Amit.

One day, he made a bold choice. He left his job to serve society. That turning point in his life was a bold choice—leaving a safe job for social service. It was not easy, but Shri Patel had a strong will. He began a business with honesty and slowly became successful. But he didn’t stop there. He became the Chairman of CREDAI Gujarat and also served as chairman of UCDC to raise awareness about UPSC-GPSC among students.  With his help, thousands of students cleared big exams and found their path. Umiya Career Development Council (UCDC) has guided over 8,400 students 3,456 of whom cleared competitive exams including class 1, 2 and 3.

In 2016, Shri Patel stepped away from business and began a mission—to bring spiritual values closer to national unity. That dream took shape as the Vishv Umiya Foundation, which is now constructing Vishv Umiyadham—a vast spiritual campus .Today, under his guidance, the ₹2,000 crore Vishv Umiyadham is being built in Ahmedabad. It’s not just a temple. It’s a centre of learning, values, and unity, showing the strength of community and culture in one place.

From India to the USA, UK, Africa, Australia and Canada, Shri Patel’s message of selfless service is spreading fast. Vishv Umiya Foundation will be soon in Africa too. He is leading with heart and reaching souls across the world. He is now the Principal Sevak of VUF, working full-time with no personal gain in mind. People from all walks of life connect with his work through social media and events. His journey teaches that one person, with the right heart, can light up thousands of lives around the world[1] . Alongside this, he has tirelessly worked for the unity of all Sanatanis, fostering harmony and shared purpose across the global Hindu community.
