Each team displayed remarkable endurance, courage, and determination in a series of competitions that tested raw power, balance, and technique — from truck-pulling and atlas stone lifting to deadlifts and tire flips. The roar of the audience, the grit of the competitors, and the energy of the arena created an electrifying atmosphere that showcased the unstoppable spirit of Indian athletes.
A Visionary Step by Mr. Kartik Yadav to bring traditional sports into regular practise .
The visionary behind this monumental initiative, Mr. Kartik Yadav, stated:
“The Strongman India League is not just a sports event — it’s a movement to inspire our youth to adopt strength, discipline, and confidence as a way of life. India has the potential to become a global powerhouse in Strongman Sports, and this league is our first major step in that direction.”
Mr. Yadav emphasized that the league format was introduced to bring entertainment, fitness, and competition together on one platform — motivating youth across India to pursue strength- based sports at both amateur and professional levels.
He further announced plans to take the Strongman India League to international recognition by collaborating with Asian and European Strongman Federations, creating cross-border competitions and global opportunities for Indian athletes.
A Grand Celebration of Strength and Sportsmanship
The event was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and witnessed participation from athletes, fitness icons, and youth representatives from various states. The atmosphere at Parade Ground, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, was charged with excitement as participants engaged in power- packed events like log lifts, truck pulls, stone carries, and farmer’s walks, demonstrating the essence of raw human power and endurance.
The Strongman India League 2025 also attracted notable figures from sports, government, and entertainment sectors. The event received immense support from the Government of India and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, whose encouragement has played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s fitness culture.

The winners of the league were honored with “Strongest state of India” title & trophies,cash, medals, and certificates of excellence, acknowledging their strength, commitment, and sportsmanship. Each participant symbolized India’s resilience, unity, and determination to compete globally.
Beyond competition, the event also served as a talent scouting platform, identifying young athletes who will be groomed for international Strongman Championships in Asia and Europe. This initiative aligns with ISF’s long-term mission of creating career pathways for strength athletes through professional coaching, sponsorship, and exposure.
Youth Empowerment Through Sports
One of the primary objectives of the Strongman India League is to motivate India’s youth to take up sports and fitness not only as a lifestyle but as a professional opportunity. The Federation plans to conduct state-level qualifiers and college strength programs across India to identify emerging talent and provide them with proper training infrastructure and mentorship.

Following the grand success of the inaugural season, Mr. Kartik Yadav announced that the next edition of the Strongman India League will feature more teams, larger arenas, and international collaborations, making it a global sporting festival from India to the world.
The Federation is also in talks with sponsors and broadcasting networks to bring the event to a wider audience through television and digital streaming platforms. Plans are underway to establish regional training academies and youth development programs under the banner of the Indian Strongman Federation.
