Dr.Madhurima Das Gupta is one the most hardworking person who with her sheer dedication achieved big goals in her life. She
is presently HOD, Department of Gender Studies and Social Studies, Ashadi Wisdom Campus, Sri Lanka. She completed her PhD from the prestigious Jadavpur University which is ranked 4th by NIRF.
Madhurima Dasgupta, who is a Ph.D in Sociology and UGC-NET qualified in the same area, is a young, dynamic and dedicated academician, prolific researcher and a social science investigator in the areas of gender studies in specific and sociology in general.She has more than 11 years of teaching experience in both public and private colleges and universities like Jadavpur University and Amity University and 11 years of research experience.
She was invited as Resource person in 38 public and private colleges including Keynote Speaker at International Conferences including INDO-CANADA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. She has served as SESSION CHAIR in 16 International Conferences and is the Editorial board members of several national and International journals. She has around 40 publications in UGC CARE and WEB OF SCIENCE JOURNALS including Book chapter in TAYLOR AND FRANCIS ONLINE. She is the author of several books including her authored book on EXPLORING MULTIPLE F0RMS OF MASCULINITY: A SOCIOLOGICAL STUDY OF HIGH SCHOOL BOYS OF NORTH KOLKATA, DARING TO SWIM AGAINST THE TIDE: A STEREOTYPE BREAKER LIFESTORY and Edited book on FUTURISTIC TRENDS IN SOCIAL SCIENCES.
She has received Best Teacher and Best Woman Faculty Awards AND Best Professor Award and is among top 100 Professors in India recognized by FOXCLUES PVT LTD. She has also received several other awards and accolades both at the national and international levels. She is also the Editorial board members of various national and international journals including a reviewer of Peterlang International Academic Publishers, Oxford, UK; Taylor and Francis Online and AI AND SOCIETY Journal by SPRINGER NATURE. She is also coming up with an edited book on EXPLORING DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF GENDER STUDIES by ROUTLEDGE. She has been recognized as Best Educationist by EXCELLENCE BOOK OF RECORDS. She is presently pursuing her Post-doctorate in Sociology of Gender from Abo-Akademi University, Finland.
