West Bengal Hapkido Team Secures Third Place at the 9th National Hapkido Championship 2025

West Bengal delivered a commanding performance at the 9th National Hapkido Championship 2025, finishing third overall among 15 participating states. The contingent returned home with an impressive 36 medals — 15 Gold, 11 Silver, and 10 Bronze — reaffirming the state’s position as a powerhouse of Indian Hapkido.

Tournament Overview
• Event: 9th National Hapkido Championship 2025
• Organised by: Hapkido Federation of India (HFI)
• Host: Hapkido Development Association of Rajasthan
• Dates: 5–9 December 2025
• Participation: Over 500 athletes from 15 states across India

The success was the result of collective dedication from athletes, coaches, officials, and the entire West Bengal Hapkido fraternity.

Special recognition is due to Master Indronil Chatterjee, General Secretary, Hapkido Association of Bengal, for his tremendous efforts in promoting and strengthening Hapkido across West Bengal.

The association also acknowledges Indronil Das, National Coach of HFI, whose technical guidance and commitment significantly contributed to the team’s improved performance.
