The Hindmotor Education Centre, situated in Hooghly District, has once again proved its excellence by hosting the “2nd Bengal Shotokan Karate Do Championship & SKIO Independence Cup 2023” on 19th and 20th August 2023. The school, known for its commitment to quality education, took the initiative to organize this state-level Karate Championship under the banner of Shotokan Karate Do International Organization – West Bengal and Amateur Ashitedo Akhada Association. The event was a grand success, witnessing the presence of 300 selected participants from all over Bengal. The Tournament Director, Mr Ashraf Ali, exclaimed, “This is the biggest quality Karate Event in Hooghly District under SKIO West Bengal,” expressing his delight with the event’s grandeur. Mr Arindam Chakraborty, the state Secretary, too, echoed Mr Ali’s words and praised the quality of this official Karate Event. To add to the excitement, FIT India Ambassador Gaurav Goswami, a 4th Dan Black Belt in Karate and 3rd Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing, graced the event with his presence as a Special Guest of Honour. The audience was thrilled to have Mr Goswami amongst them, who encouraged and motivated the participants to push their limits and perform their best. Overall, the event was a true showcase of grit, determination, and skill, with the participants exhibiting their martial arts expertise. Hindmotor Education Centre has yet again proven its mettle, and the school and its faculty are proud of hosting such an excellent Karate Championship. The success of the event will undoubtedly inspire and motivate the students to achieve greatness in their respective fields.
