It was in the year 2023 when Chandan Shaw and Nisha Singh saw a problem in India’s two-wheeler service industry. There were over 70 petrol bike manufacturers and 300+ EV bike manufacturers. “But when it came to servicing, options were limited. Company service centers were reliable but costly. Most riders visited them only during the free service period. After that, local garages became the go-to option. They were cheaper and closer to home. But they lacked modern tools, updated technology, and transparent pricing,” states Chandan Shaw.
“We wanted to bridge this gap, so we built Bikemech,” says Nisha Singh. They are a Kolkata-based company with a satellite office in Hyderabad. Riders get reliable service.
