Goa: At the prestigious Fern Hotel in Goa, the Global Book of Excellence, England, honored individuals from across the nation for their remarkable contributions in various fields with the Global Award 2025.
Among the dignitaries awarded was BrahmaKumar Dr. Deepak Harke, a meditation trainer at Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, who has been instrumental in spreading the ancient Indian wisdom of Raja Yoga across the globe. His tireless work through over 8,500 service centers in 143 countries—offering free meditation training—was recognized in this grand event.
The award was presented to him by celebrated actor, model, and fashion designer Karan Mehra, best known for his iconic role as Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, one of India’s longest-running television serials.
The event was also graced by BK Dr. Gangadhar, Editor of Om Shanti Media, and BK Vanita, Director of the Goa center of the Brahma Kumaris.
Dr. Deepak Harke holds the distinction of being the first Indian to achieve 183 world records, all aimed at promoting India’s spiritual heritage—especially Raja Yoga.
Previously, Dr. Harke has received numerous accolades both in India and abroad. In London, he has been honored with eight prestigious awards, including special recognitions at the British Parliament and Oxford University.

Dr. Deepak Harke was first introduced to the Brahma Kumaris during his college years, and eventually dedicated his entire life to the mission of selfless spiritual service. Today, he continues to spread the message of peace, inner power, and Raja Yoga meditation across the world.
