When announcing the song on her social media, the singer described she got the inspiration to write this song after watching her friend going through the most turbulent period of her life.” “When I was writing it, it was my friend who came over with a bottle of wine and a takeaway to cheer up. The friend who’d stay up all night and just holding my hand while she’d sob relentlessly not knowing why,” she wrote.
