In politics, it is often said—there are no permanent enemies or friends, only ideologies endure.
This has been brought to life today by a young leader who is now regarded as a political heavyweight—not only by the BJP but across all levels of government and organization.

April 16, 2025, the third day of the Shukla Paksha, under the Anuradha Nakshatra—was not just a date, but a historic turning point. It was the day when the Sanatan Shakti Yatra, dedicated to Lord Mahadev, was launched from Kurukshetra under the leadership of Rahul Jogi. The Yatra was flagged off by BJP National Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna.

Thousands of members of the Hindu Sanatan Vahini and a massive convoy of vehicles participated in the Yatra, which passed through Kurukshetra, Karnal, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Haridwar, and Rishikesh, finally reaching Neelkanth. Along the way, the local populace warmly welcomed the procession. Chants of Lord Mahadev echoed in the sky, displaying a spectacular scene of Hindu unity.

As the Yatra reached Karnal, BJP MLA Jagmohan Anand, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, and Haryana Government Whip Ramkumar Kashyap, along with thousands of workers, greeted Rahul Jogi and the Yatra with grand festivities—clearly indicating that this was more than an ordinary event. It symbolized a demonstration of strength within the BJP.

Political Roots and Public Support—The Source of Rahul Jogi’s Strength

Born on August 21, 1990, in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, to late Rajpal Jogi and Anita Jogi, Rahul Jogi did not confine himself to political platforms. Instead, he built a strong strategic presence across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and even Nepal and Bhutan.

He has been honored multiple times by the Prime Minister of Nepal. In fact, Rahul Jogi played an important role in 2023 when a delegation from Nepal visited India to discuss India-Nepal issues.

In 2019, during the Congress-led regime, he was sent as Co-incharge of Madhya Pradesh. However, insiders say Rahul Jogi’s ideology never truly aligned with the Congress party.

He consistently advocated for empowering the poor and grassroots workers, which often led to friction with the Congress high command. According to sources, post-2019, he even resigned from several party positions.

A Call Across 128 Districts—Proof of Public Strength

Rahul Jogi’s popularity was evident when, in a 2019 social movement, on a single call from him, supporters in 128 districts of North India submitted memoranda to the Prime Minister and Home Minister.
There were no TV cameras, no banners—just the trust of the people and the charisma of his leadership.

Experts say while his roots may have been in Congress, his ideological affinity always aligned with the BJP. It would be fair to say that Congress was just a brief stop along the way. His thinking, conduct, and policies have always resonated with nationalist values and Sanatan traditions.

This is why, now that he’s leading the Sanatan Shakti Yatra, ministers and public representatives from BJP-ruled states have welcomed him warmly. Rahul Jogi is now a senior BJP leader and National President of the Hindu Sanatan Vahini.

Political Grip and Organizational Network

Whether it’s strategic planning in Chambal and Bundelkhand or creating a caste-neutral vote bank in Haryana, Punjab, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, Rahul Jogi has proven himself at every front.

The organizational network he built has been so effective that several members of his faction were awarded election tickets during assembly polls—while some who didn’t receive tickets remained a topic of discussion.

His presence in the BJP is not just about “joining” the party—it marks an expansion of strength.

When BJP National Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna arrived at Rahul Jogi’s residence in Kurukshetra to participate in a Mahadev Maha Yagna and flag off the Yatra—joined by MLAs, mayors, and senior organizational leaders—it sent a clear signal that the BJP now considers Rahul Jogi a national strategic asset.

Both the government and the party are openly backing him. Given Khanna’s status as a veteran BJP and RSS leader, his presence wasn’t just symbolic—it was a clear message that Rahul Jogi is not new to the BJP, but rather returning home.

A Pre-Existing Bond with BJP—Crucial Role in 2017

Rahul Jogi’s connection with the BJP goes back years. He has consistently participated in BJP events and supported Hindu ideology. In 2017, he played a pivotal role at an awards function at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, attended by around 32 MPs and 21 ministers.

Notable attendees included then Union Ministers Ramdas Athawale, Krishna Raj, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, MP Priyanka Singh Rawat, MP Dharmendra Kashyap, and Bandaru Dattatreya, who is now the Governor of Haryana.

Nationalist Stand During Ram Temple Inauguration

Rahul Jogi has always been a firm supporter of Hindutva and nationalism. During the Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya, he honored visiting guests distributing Aksht (sacred rice) by naming them “Ramdoots” (messengers of Lord Ram) and organized a grand welcome that became a nationwide talking point.

This move received tremendous appreciation from various sections of the Hindu community.

Influence in Nepal and the International Arena

Rahul Jogi’s influence is not confined to Indian politics. His presence in Nepal and Bhutan is also significant. He recently held a meeting with senior BJP leaders and a high-level Nepalese delegation, discussing cultural and political ties between the two countries.

Former Nepalese Prime Ministers Khil Raj Regmi and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have honored him multiple times in Nepal.

According to sources, Rahul Jogi maintains strong ties with several social and political organizations in Nepal. He is actively working to strengthen Hindu culture, Indian values, and social justice across South Asia. His presence in the BJP is now being seen as important not only domestically but also in the context of international Hindu politics and cultural diplomacy.

Leading the Hindu Sanatan Vahini and Promoting Social Awareness

Rahul Jogi is more than just a politician. He is one of the leading figures working for Hindu society and nationalism. As National President of the Hindu Sanatan Vahini and a senior BJP leader, and having served as Co-incharge of Madhya Pradesh, he continues to promote Hindu culture, social harmony, and nationalist values.
