Mumbai, June 19, 2025 — Aspiring actor Sahas Purswani is all set to make his grand debut in the upcoming Hindi feature film Sundarnagar Ki Sundari, produced under the prestigious banner of Chilsag Pictures. The film is written and directed by Natya Bhushan awardee Sachin Gupta, known for his sensitive storytelling and compelling narratives.
Marking a major milestone in his journey, Sahas calls this project “a dream come true,” especially as the film’s shoot took him back to Rishikesh, a city he holds close to his heart. “Shooting in Rishikesh brought back so many beautiful memories. The vibe, the people, everything was magical,” he shared.
Sahas will be seen sharing the screen with a talented ensemble cast including Sunakshi Grover, Himanshu Goel, Sanskriti Verma, Gracy Goswami, Virti Vaghani, and Abhishek Chavan. Speaking fondly of his co-star Sunakshi Grover, Sahas said, “She is incredibly talented and brings so much energy to every scene. Acting alongside her was an absolute joy.”
Behind the spotlight, this debut is deeply personal for Sahas. The film is a tribute to his father Jitender Purswani who dreamt of seeing his son on the big screen. “It was his dream, and he was the one who pushed me toward this film. He has always been my biggest inspiration,” Sahas said, remembering him with gratitude and emotion.
Known among his friends as a sports freak, Sahas is also a passionate car enthusiast and proudly owns a sports car. Yet, despite the glitz and adrenaline, there’s nothing he misses more while traveling than his mother’s homemade food. “My mom’s food is my biggest comfort. I absolutely love Sindhi cuisine—there’s nothing like it,” he smiled. Sahas credits his mother, Geetu Purswani, for instilling in him a strong sense of discipline and focus. “She’s my constant motivation and support,” he added.
With Sundarnagar Ki Sundari, Sahas Purswani is all set to charm audiences and make a lasting impression in the world of Hindi cinema. As excitement builds around the release, all eyes are now on this promising newcomer.
