The Book for Peace Award was born from a project of a group of Associations: FUNVIC (Fundação Universitária Vida Cristã) – UNESCO BFUCA-WFUCA Brasil club – Section Europe, ANASPOL (Local Police), in collaboration with SULPL, Ass.ne Nazle Giudici di Pace, IADPES, CIVU Malta & UNEP.
Dr. Dinesh Sabnis, a Senior Educationist, Sports Mentor, Author, and Humanitarian Activist, was honored with the “Book for Peace” International Special Award 2023 by Prof. Antonio Imeneo, the Co-Founder of the Book for Peace project and also a Director of the International Research Center FUNVIC-Europe in Rome, Italy. This special award was bestowed upon Dr. Sabnis for his sincere efforts towards UNSDGs, Diplomacy, and Peace Building projects. Dr. Dinesh Sabnis holds various senior honorary positions in INGOs & IGOs that represent the United Nations in ECOSOC at General & Special Consultative status respectively for various SDG projects and missions. Dr. Sabnis, in the past, has been the recipient of the Rajya Puraskar (Government of Maharashtra) and various Commemorative Medals from UN Blue Beret Associations for his commendable work in Peace and Diplomacy. Recently, Dr. Sabnis also received the UN NGO Grand Cross from Lazarus Union (UN General Consultative Status Organisation) based in Austria for his contribution to Education & Humanitarian support.
