Pune, (Maharashtra) [India]: When Viddya Ragotra was advised to separate during one of the most emotionally challenging phases of her life, she did not react immediately. Instead, she chose to understand.
Today, she leads Parivvartan Transforming Lives in Pune, a relationship and emotional wellbeing initiative that supports women who appear strong and successful externally, yet struggle silently within their marriages.
A Career Defined by Precision and Performance
Before entering the field of relationship transformation, Viddya built a distinguished career as a Computer Engineer with organisations such as Tech Mahindra and Infosys. She received excellence and rising performer awards and became known for her ability to simplify complex systems.
In one instance, she reduced a technical process that required 72 hours to just 2.5 minutes. Colleagues recognised her as a quiet achiever who solved problems without seeking visibility.
Marriage to an Army officer brought relocation to remote postings including Dalhousie and later Kashmir. With limited career flexibility available at the time, she stepped away from her professional path.
The transition was graceful externally, but internally it raised difficult questions.
The Phase That Changed Everything
After childbirth, Viddya experienced emotional distress that remained undiagnosed for some time. Despite having a loving family and supportive environment, she struggled with anger, emptiness and confusion.
Professional advice pointed toward separation. However, the suggestion did not align with her belief that relationships deserve sincere effort before dissolution.
Instead of exiting, she began researching.
She studied counselling models, explored more than 300 therapeutic approaches and completed multiple coaching certifications. At the same time, she revisited spiritual texts including Bhagavad Gita As It Is and Srimad Bhagavatam, studying them as practical guides for responsibility and emotional steadiness.
Gradually, she rebuilt her own marriage.
That lived experience became the foundation of Parivvartan Transforming Lives.
A Structured One-Partner Approach
Established formally in March 2022, the initiative works primarily with one partner in a distressed relationship, even when the other partner may be distant or unwilling to participate.
The philosophy is grounded in a simple observation: when one individual strengthens emotionally and communicates with clarity, family dynamics begin to shift.
The work addresses emotional disconnection, repeated conflict, infidelity, addiction-related stress, in-law interference and active divorce proceedings. The focus remains on restoring dignity, not assigning blame.
Over the years, more than 12,500 women across India and over 500 globally have sought support through this framework. Clients include surgeons, founders, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, NRIs and senior professionals in India and the UAE who value discretion and structured guidance.
A Case That Reflects the Work
A senior medical professional approached Viddya after her husband had filed for divorce following years of separation. Rather than focusing on convincing the husband, the work centred on restoring the wife’s emotional stability and communication clarity.
Gradually, dialogue resumed. Emotional trust was rebuilt. Before the third court hearing, the divorce petition was withdrawn. The couple reunited and later expanded their family, while extended family relationships stabilised as well.
The outcome emerged through inner alignment, not pressure.
A Wider Commitment to Families
In addition to her professional work, Viddya has been conducting free online sessions on the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam for mothers and children for the past six years. She believes that emotionally secure parents create an environment where children can grow with confidence and stability.
Parivvartan Transforming Lives continues to work with a long-term vision of strengthening marriages through clarity, responsibility and self-development, particularly among high-performing women who do not want to choose between success and family harmony.
The initiative represents calm reform rather than loud motivation.
It offers a confidential space where dignity, wisdom and practical solutions meet.
