Mukesh Mishra is a karate coach and former national level karate player from Bihar, born on 31st December 1990. He competed in his first national level competition in 2008. Early Life and Education
Mukesh Mishra was born and raised in Darbhanga, a small town in Bihar. He completed his schooling from his hometown and then went on to pursue a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) degree from Sikkim Manipal University. His passion for education and sports led him to further his studies and acquire a Bachelor degree in Physical Education (B.P.ED) from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.

Karate Career and Achievements
Mukesh Mishra started learning karate at age of 14 under the coaching of Sawan Kumar. His journey started as player in the field of Karate began in 2008 when he first participated in a national championship. Over the next seven years, he continued to compete and represent his state in various tournaments. He earned 3rd Dan Black belt in year 2016 from Style Shito-ryu. In 2017, Mukesh decided to shift his focus from competing to training the next generation of karate players. He opened his own martial-arts training center named “Karate School Darbhanga” in his hometown and started coaching the school and college going boys and girls. Since then, he has been training top karate players from Bihar, who have gone on to participate in numerous Karate championships across the country to till date and bring home medals for their state. Currently, he is the Joint Secretary of the SKAB (State Karate Association of Bihar) and has also serving as the general secretary of the Karate Association of Darbhanga and holds the 4th Dan Black Belt in Karate Style Shito-Ryu. His recent victory by winning seven medals including two gold and five bronze medals for Bihar as Karate Team Coach in the 68th National School Games Karate Championship (under 17 boys & girls) held in New Delhi from 9 to 15 December.
